Abstract: By 2013, there had been totally 21 national parks in Korea, accounting for 6.65% of the national territory area. National parks are considered as the areas that represent the natural ecosystem and recreational sites in Korea. The knowledge of the management system for Korea's national parks will be of great significance for China to build national parks. This paper overviewed the present situation, management system and management experience of Korea's national parks, as well as in the state of national park building in China. It was proposed that Korea's experience could be learned and China should have correct understandings of the function of national park, strengthen top-level design, define the main body for management, improve relevant laws and regulations, carry out international exchanges and cooperation, boost the academic research, and improve the service quality.
